I was busy yesterday. I went to play at a place called 24 pickle and they are actually open for 24 hours. I will probably write a review of this place in a future post. Anyways the 24 kind of leads to the idea of the theme for my late three tune Tuesday. I want to share three songs that have 24 in it.
Staring out with this fun party song by Bruno Mars. It's a fun uplifting song that does give some nostalgia to old school songs I feel. I don't think there's too deep of a meaning for this song. The 24k in the song I believe is referring to gold and that 24k is like the purest form of gold and most expensive. I'm guessing that is a visual representation of the wealth of the person portrayed in the song. The person has a lot of money and with that money they can make amazing parties anytime and out of nowhere hence where the magic comes from. I could be wrong though!
The next song I want to share is 24 hours by Sunmi. The song is in Korean and has a sexy upbeat melody and voice. The song is just about a girl obsessed with a guy or maybe another girl. She is with him/her all the time and it's not enough. 24 hours with them is not enough to satisfy her.
I actually found this song today. I loved the melody and I found it interesting and relatable to those in their twenties that still haven't figured out their future. They get a bit pressured by those few around them that have married and figured things out. They are getting older and can't party as hard. I guess it's more about adjusting into the adulting life.
