Oops, I'm super late for my three tune Tuesday. I'm still going to write the post for it. Today, I want to share three songs from 徐剑秋. It seems that he's really good at emo songs. If you pay attention to the voice, you may recognize it if you've been listening to my three tune Tuesday posts. Yes, he's the singer that sings 0.00487 which I shared about two weeks ago! I'm going to share three of his other songs that I like.
那个我只敢想念不敢打扰的人 (The one I miss but don't dare to contact) - 徐剑秋
When I first listened to this song, the piano caught my attention. If you can't tell by the title and the tone of the song, it's a super emo song. The song is about a guy that misses a girl. This girl was most likely his past girlfriend. He wishes that he could go back to the time together. He looks back and misses those moments, yet he no longer dares to contact her, haunted by the pain she left behind.
只想念不联系 (Missing Without Reaching Out) - 徐剑秋
This song is a bit similar to the first song. It also starts out with a piano but the tone of the voice is a bit different. The difference in this song is that the person might not have been in a relationship yet. The guy was hoping for the chance with this girl but she came by and left twice. Eventually, he realizes that he needs to give up hence he misses her without reaching out to her. He decided to not bother her anymore and this was the best decision for himself as he needed to move on.
最痛 不是分开那一刻 (The most painful thing wasn’t the moment we parted) - 徐剑秋
I saved my favorite for last. I like the beat of the song; I like that drum in the background but do correct me if I'm wrong about it being a drum. The song is about a guy missing his past girlfriend. It's been a long time since they talked. He genuinely hopes that she's happy. He feels that it's more painful that he can't ask her how she's doing and the simple things when they were together than at the point of breaking up.
That's all for this week. I just realized that almost all his songs begin with a nice piano piece to catch the attention of the listeners. Which song did you like the most?
