Today was a great day. I had lunch with some friends at one of their restaurants. The restaurant specialized in authentic Hong Kong food. I will definitely write about it in an eating out post sometime this week. It's Tuesday today and I will be sharing my three songs for three tune Tuesday hosted by ablaze. I've been sharing a lot of Japanese songs for the past three tune Tuesdays. Today, I want to change it up a little bit and share some Korean songs. Today, I want to share some songs from Zion T. Zion T is a solo singer that sings hip hop / R&B music. I hope you like the songs I share today!
I'm starting out with the song titled Eat. I like the title for this song because I think it's unique and catchy. I love the meaning behind the song and the soft gentle melody. The song is about a person being busy in life and I feel that's relatable for most people. The song is reminding that person to make sure to take care of themselves by not forgetting to eat despite the busy schedule. I think in real life people tend to be too busy and forget to take care of their body and this song is just trying to share this issue. I also think there's a bit of a love song to it because it's like the person wants the other person to take care of themselves.
Now this song is an interesting one because of the lyrics. He starts off talking about as a kid and learning to be happy and not be sick. I believe that's what his parents always told him so this is what he learned. When he was young, his father always told him he was at Yanghwa Bridge. I'm guessing this was due to work or figurative language for adulting. Later in the song he mentions that now he's standing on the bridge so it could be a way to say that he's finally an adult. If I'm wrong, do correct me in the comments!
Personally, No Make Up is my favorite song by Zion T. It's just a simple song with a catchy beat. In a really short summary, it's about a guy telling a girl that she's beautiful the way she is. She doesn't need make up and she is still beautiful.
If you made it to the end, thank you so much for reading and listening. What do you think of Zion T? Do you like these kinds of R&B songs?
Please don't be afraid to share your three songs every Tuesday! Share the music share the love.
I do not own any of these songs and these are not my YouTube channels; it's just for fair use and sharing new music to everybody. All credit for these songs go to their singer๐.
