‎Have you ever seen two people from different families get married and suddenly start looking alike?
‎
‎We might not be able to explain the science behind it because we are not scientists, but we come across these folks all the time.
‎
‎However, if you listen to "Mirrors" by Justin Timberlake, you will also hear how he likens his lover to a mirror.

‎We all know what mirrors do; it doesn't lie, it shows exactly what you are, and you can't run from it.
‎
‎You can begin to understand why we had those Snow White folktales passed down generation after generation and getting different film remakes, as the wicked stepmother kept asking the mirror repeatedly who was the fairest of them all in the town.
‎
‎Mirrors will always tell you the truth. You can pretend when you are not looking at it, try to escape it with vanity upon vanity, but the moment you stand in front of a mirror, it will all come tumbling down.
‎
‎You can definitely see your soul when you stare at mirrors. Spirituality understands this better, which is why occult conversation will always have mirrors somewhere.
‎
‎Older Nollywood films had mirrors used to see beyond the present realm, transcending time and space to capture whatever or whoever they wanted to. All of it to buttress a point.
‎
‎Even Hollywood does not ever keep mirrors out of their horror films. It is often a part of the story. A deranged creature must always stand in front of a mirror to make sure he or she or whatever it is can see they are not ordinary.

There is always something wrong with them, and while they go wild, pursuing innocent people and trying to harm or convert them, they will always get a scene with a mirror so they do not completely stay oblivious of what they are.
‎
‎The mirror will always stare back at you. You can't escape the truth you will find when you look into one. You can escape it, as the scripture says: one can look at the mirror one minute and forget what he looks like a few hours after leaving the mirror
‎
‎But no matter how far you run from the mirror and stay in quiet oblivion, when you get back to it, it is always willing to share the truth with you.
‎
‎Mirrors never lie. Look into one and make sure you tell yourself the truth about who you really are.
