The ATM booths of Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL) are constantly serving thousands of people. And behind the scenes, technical engineers like us have to work behind the scenes to keep this service running. Recently, I had to rush there after receiving an emergency call from a booth. Today, I am sharing with you the experience of that technical visit and successfully repairing the machine.

Due to professional responsibilities, I always have to be ready as soon as I receive news of any mechanical malfunction. That day, an urgent complaint came from an ATM booth (machine number: 005749) of Dutch-Bangla Bank. Although customers were able to withdraw money at the booth, they were not getting any receipt or slip at the end of the transaction. Receipts are a very important part of banking transactions, so I quickly rushed to the spot with a tool bag to solve the problem.
Upon reaching the booth, I first diagnosed the machine and checked the entire mechanism inside. It turned out that the main problem was in the receipt printer inside the ATM. Due to a paper jam or some mechanical blockage, the printer was not able to print the slip even though it was receiving data.
As an engineer, working with such sensitive hardware requires perfect attention and skill. I carefully opened the printer module. Then I cleaned the paper roll stuck inside, checked the printer sensors and set up the entire printing unit properly again. A slight carelessness could have damaged the internal gears or sensors, so the work had to be done very carefully and efficiently.
After repairing the printer, the entire ATM system was initialized again. To ensure that the work was done perfectly, I myself performed a test transaction (Last Transaction).
While the machine was processing, the screen displayed the message Your Transaction is being Processed Please wait... as usual and within a few seconds a receipt for a cash dispense count was successfully printed. I took the receipt in my hand and saw that all the counting data of the note dispense and rejected amount of Cassette-1 and Cassette-2 dated 10/05/26 were printed perfectly.

The professional satisfaction of that moment when the machine becomes fully operational again after solving a complex technical problem with my own hands is truly different. Being able to reduce the suffering of customers and make a busy ATM booth operational again is the greatest value of my work as an engineer. Don't forget to share your feedback in the comments!
This was my arrangement for today. I hope you liked the pictures I took and the nature observations. Wishing everyone good health, I bid you farewell here today.
