I solved the problem of the ATM machine's system freeze.

Today's work experience was quite challenging and at the same time very satisfying. It was not a normal duty like every day, but suddenly an urgent call or emergency call came from an ATM/CRM booth. It was informed that there was a major problem with the machine and the customers were not getting service. As soon as I got the news, I rushed to the spot without any delay.

Upon reaching there, I realized that the problem was quite complex. The ATM screen was completely frozen or 'System Freeze'. Some technical codes and device lists were visible on the screen, which meant that the computer system inside the booth was not responding to any commands. In this situation, there was no possibility of working with a simple reboot or restart.

After observing the situation, I decided to start working step by step. It was necessary to make sure whether this was happening due to any network or connectivity related complications. So first of all, I went to the Juniper network switch or router panel behind the machine. From there, I carefully disconnected the main LAN cable. The main purpose of temporarily disconnecting this connection from Juniper was to eliminate network loops or IP complications.

After completely opening the LAN cable line, I tried to enter the main system of the machine. After successfully logging into the admin panel of the machine, the main technical tasks began. I went there and identified the real errors behind the freeze. I completed all the necessary tasks one by one like running diagnostics, cleaning the accumulated files or commands, and resetting the internal configurations of the system.

After completing all the technical checks and admin level tasks perfectly, it was time to restart the machine. I reconnected the network line properly and brought the entire system live. By the infinite mercy of the Most Gracious Allah and Alhamdulillah, all our efforts were successful. The machine booted up and the familiar green interface of Islami Bank appeared on the screen. Not only that, but a successful transaction by a customer confirmed that the entire system was now 100% operational, in addition to checking the balance. Seeing the screen of a successful transaction of 1.5 lakh taka brought a different kind of joy to my mind. I feel really good about successfully solving a very complex and big problem.
