Today started with a different kind of professional challenge. A new ATM machine was installed in our office yesterday. I was called to test the machine live. But yesterday I had to face a strange experience. The combination lock of the new machine was broken! Naturally, this was an unexpected problem. Without delay, I quickly requisitioned a new lock.
This morning, the new lock arrived via courier. I collected the lock from the courier office and went straight to the ATM booth without delay. A problem with the lock of an ATM machine means the entire system is down, which is inconvenient for the customers. So it was a complicated task.
Upon reaching the booth, I first unboxed the package of the new lock. I checked each part very carefully to see if everything was in order. Then the real work began. First, I carefully placed the black cover on the lock. Then I firmly attached the main body of the lock to the back side. Finally, I set the rotating part of the lock in the middle and completed the installation of the lock very nicely.
After finishing the work, I made a test transaction to see if everything was fine. The joy is that the transaction was completely successful and the lock was working perfectly. I am really happy that I was able to solve a mechanical problem in this way with my own skills. Such small successes in professional life give me the most inspiration.
