For the friends of Hive Blog, I am here with a wonderful story of my experience at the fish market. There are thirteen festivals in the twelve months of Bengali calendar, and if you have a piece of fresh Rui fish in your plate, that festival will be fulfilled. One such great experience this morning was going to the local fish market. As soon as I woke up in the morning, I thought, I should cook some fresh big fish for lunch today. As soon as I thought about it, I went straight to the raw market with my bag in hand. As soon as I entered the market, the familiar noise and the shouts of the vendors created a different and lively atmosphere. Amidst the crowd of silver hilsa, live hornbills, and shrimps, my eyes were drawn to the large stalls of Rui fish.

There I saw some very fresh and shiny Rui fish. The fish's reddish fins and bright scales indicated that they were fresh fish from a river or a good water body. I chose a large Rui fish. As the seller was cutting the fish, I was filled with joy at the sight of the bright red gills inside. Nearby, in another container, several fish were kept in clear water, a glimpse of which I caught as I was returning home after buying the fish. A strange satisfaction was working in my mind at that moment. Only a true Bengali would understand the joy of buying fresh fish in China Back home, the lunch menu included Rui fish patties with a thin potato-eggplant broth and lemon. The taste of that fresh fish with hot rice was simply amazing.

In this busy digital life, how much peace of mind can even the familiar hustle and bustle of the market and the simple moments of buying fresh fish bring to our lives, If I hadn't gone to the market today, I might not have realized it anew. What was on your lunch menu today? Don't forget to comment! Thank you all.
