Yesterday afternoon, the scene of our small alley was completely different. The blue canopy of the sky was like a fire. Public life seemed to have stopped due to the intense burning of the sun and the unbearable heat. The most difficult time was from noon onwards. The asphalt road seemed to be giving off heat. The sun was so hot that it was difficult to go outside. Still, life does not stop. Some people came out on this sunny afternoon out of necessity.

These scenes were captured at the intersection of our alley. From a distance, someone was probably going somewhere on a bike. When I myself was walking through the alley with an umbrella on my head, I saw many people looking for shade. I saw a few young people walking somewhere. Some of them had water bottles in their hands, while others were wiping their sweat from their heads. There was a lack of shade around, so perhaps they were walking in groups and taking some courage. Road construction was going on on one side, and some workers were also working there, sweating. Their work showed how important it was to ignore the heat of the sun to earn a living.

A rickshaw puller in the distance was probably bringing a passenger. His suffering was evident on his face. The trees on both sides of the road seemed to be helping by providing a little shade. The old bricks and old walls of the houses were scorching in the heat of the sun. In this sun, the dust particles and tangled electric wires on the road seemed to increase the feeling of heat even more. Amidst the crowd and traffic jams of this city, our lane seemed a little different. However, yesterday's harsh sun seemed to make this quiet lane feel like a hot cauldron.
Many others like me must have been trapped indoors yesterday due to the sun. Those who had come out for urgent needs all had a look of fatigue on their faces. Thirsty people in this intense heat were looking for some water. As I crossed the corner of the lane with an umbrella on my head, I thought about how much struggle people have in this scorching sun. Even though everyone is restless in the heat, the wheels of daily life do not stop. That sunny afternoon yesterday will be a lasting experience. Everyone be careful and drink plenty of water.
