I don't know how everyone spent their day today, but I had a strangely sad but peaceful one. When the sun withdraws all its radiance at the end of the day and returns, I would not have believed how charming the entire sky can be if I hadn't seen these pictures. I suddenly went up to the roof without any special purpose, but whenever I looked up, I stopped for a moment. This play of colors in nature is worth seeing.
This twilight scene taken from the roof of my house is actually not an ordinary picture, it is a kind of food for the mind. The thick blue sky around has slowly taken on a grayish pink hue. The last light of the setting sun has spread across the western horizon as if someone has painted a painting with a brush. The clouds seem to have bathed in that light and have turned from pink to yellow. This variety of colors is so beautiful that after seeing it, all the fatigue of the mind disappears in an instant. This scene, just before the brick and wooden buildings of the busy city are covered in dim darkness, has mesmerized me.
For those of you who spend most of the day indoors or in the office, this scene will bring you a little closer to nature. When we look at this vast sky from the rooftop, our small daily problems seem very insignificant. In front of this vastness of nature, we ourselves find a little peace.
