Welcome to the story of John Wilkes Booth. The story start when Edwin Stanton notifies President Abraham Lincoln that the confederacy is dead, the union is saved and the world is over, after 5 days of that success people were happy and celebrating the end of war and on of those celebration was a play in the Ford’s Theater where a lot of people assisted and also the President, everyone took their seats and the President was in one of the balcony with his wife, suddenly and gun shot was heard and a man yell in the President balcony, since that moment the news spread like wildfire, President Abraham Lincoln’s was assassinated, the man responsible of the tragic murder never hide his face and everyone knew that the man who shot the President was John Wilkes Booth. Edwin Stanton start a hunt to find that man and make him pay for his repulsive act, also the Detective James L. Tracy leads the official investigation and becomes obsessed with catching Booth before h can escape to Canada. The series will follow the hunting of Booth for 12 days until he is captured, the audience will discover a part of history that probably many people don’t know and the conspiracy about Lincoln’s murder.
The series Manhunt is based on the New York Times bestselling book written by James L. Swanson, directed by Carl Franklin and Tobias Menzies in the main role. Is a Apple TV series that will be premiered on March 15th.

Manhunt with the direction of Carl Franklin and the with the talented cast is giving the viewers an experience that immerses them in the crucial moments in American history. Based in real historical events and in the memoirs of Detective Colin Sutton, the series wants to guide the audience to discover more than the person that murder the president also to discover who leads the conspiracy. In a moment were a person wanted to lead a hall country, unify it and make people equal, Manhunt shows that theirs person that never wanted to feel equal as others, they want more power and above others and is ironic how all that premise still exist in the present. A series that audience is enjoy to watch to know that part of history that maybe is not told and is always good to know.
