Hello everyone! I hope you are doing very well today and that your day is going very well too. It's Hive Naijah's weekly engagement week 65, and it is good to be here.
Ideas are imaginations that are in your mind, and it sticks when it looks like a reality to you. But you can imagine a thing and it becomes impossible because you may not believe in it, and it may also be possible because of what you work towards. Some of the time people get other people's support because of how they speak about their ideas. If you do not speak well of your thing, nobody would encourage you, but if you are good at making your thing known and speak about it in a pleasant way, you would be supported by everyone.
I remember while I was growing up, I wanted to be a very good singer. I love singing even now. I was always known for being a music person by so many people that came in contact with me. My parents always told me to face my education and forget about music because it would not pay me. I did not really pay attention to them because of how passionately I love to sing. They would tell me that they wouldn't support my music career if I did not do well in school, so I started becoming serious in school so that they would support me.
After my secondary school, I wanted to go to a music school and learn more about it, but my parents said no to me; they rather told me to prepare for jamb and start university. I listened to them so that they would support me later.
I remember that I had the idea of owning a music studio where I charge a little so that people like me who are not supported by anyone could come and learn the music craft and become stars. My dad is a sound engineer, so I wanted to learn how to produce it, but he said no to me. I want something very big, and it seems very impossible.
I need a big space where people come there to listen to good music for free; maybe just pay a little token. The idea is not for profit; it is just something I would do to be fulfilled in life.
I had this idea since I was young, and it has stuck with me. That is why I still learn and grow in music. The reason this idea has stuck with me is:
It brings back memories of how my dad used to produce sound for people, and my father was very good at it, and anytime he gave good sound to people, they became happy and relaxed. If I am able to help people make their dreams come true, it will make them happy and fulfilled too, and that is another way of giving back to my society.
This idea has made me go through a lot of learning that will help me become what I want to be.
