Everytime i see my puri trip pictures on my gallery, I always notices that I missed out to share something very important and interesting things. Puri is not only attracts visitor for pilgrimaige purpose but it also houses many other adventurous stuffs. From shopping, to local handicrafts items to adventure sports to hub of sea food. It has everything that keeps thr visitors buzzing at the sea beaches. Whether it is morning, or evening or night, the view of the sea Waves hitting the shore, and the sounds of the waves makes puri a fantastic beach destination.
When it comes to beaches adventures, puri is not far away to keep the vistors away from entertainment. While the golden beach, is very famous for the boat rides, where rhe vistirs could enjoy the high speed boat rides at some other point, there are various adventure sports in offering. A beach trip is incomplete unless you be part of the adventure sport. Luckily at one of the other beach, the adventure options are available at a reasonable cost.
Far away from the crowded Golden beach these adventure sports are available at Chandrabhaga beach. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in in Puri area. It is highly recommended to visit Chdrabhaga to enjoy this pristine, lonely sea beach along with lot of water activities. The Chandrabhaga beach creates an ethereal atmosphere. Located 30 km away from Puri, on the way from Puri to Konark. Chandrabhaga beach, gives a great and memorable experiences. Learn more on this beach on my earlier post. People can be seen enjoying the atmosphere by easing themselves completelly.
It is not so crowded, as bathing is not allowed, still people visits this places for various purpose. The beach offer some pristine touch allowing visitors to take some stunning pictures. The waves at beach is very infrequent which makes it risky to enjoy, so the localities set up their own adventure sports arena.
What used to be scheduled beach, the state tourism department is taking appropriate action to make it a sporty beach. Lot of water sports can be experienced at this site. While during my visot, only MTV bike rides were available for the visitors. People can be seen queeung up for a small rides on the sand.
I was interested in taking a ride too but before wanted to take a closer look at the heavy vehicle. However, the owners or the caretaker started asking for money. They were bit rude in their words which made me not to enjoy the ride.

One more reason of not enjoying the rides, was that they are not allowing the vistors to drive it. Theybwere accompanying the vistors which does not suits me. I wanted to enjoy by my own. Still many people were happy enjoying their rides on the sand.
The place has few open make shift shops, selling sweets, artefacts, sunglasses and other snack items. Enough to keep the vistors occupied and letting them enjoy the fantastic beach.
It was a good experience, enjoying in the sand. Being a less crowded it does give a serene experince and makes the trip a memorable touch.
This beach is quite nice and clean. Enroute to konark temple Chandrabhaga Beach is a good place to visit. Often people makes it to the golden beach and the temple and in process missed out on exploring the places. This beach is one such place. But to make the trip memorsble, Chandrabhaga beach is the place to be. Especially during morning and evening to enjoy the fabulous sunrise and sunset.
