Bringing you a warm greetings and hope you are all doing good in health and wellness, enjoying the best things life brings our way like this very recipe of an appetizer I made  from sweet potatoes 🍠 to share with you.

We love ❤️ potatoes and can really enjoy it in various ways through recipes if we put some efforts to make potatoes versatile in our kitchen. Yes! We can enjoy potatoes mashed, roasted, fried, grilled or even make a potato 🥔 soups 🍲of various kinds.

 But if there is one thing we don’t want to forget , its those comforting potato appetizers that we make for snacking while waiting for lunch or dinner. This is what I made today to share with you. Potato appetizers in roll shapes with just few ingredients that made it fluffy and crispy. The added vanilla extract is one other thing that gave this recipe a good flavor and taste that will want you asking for more.

Lets quickly see the steps for this delicious potato 🥔 appetizer .

INGREDIENTS:

1 large farm fresh potato
2 teaspoon of margarine 
3 teaspoon of cake flour 
2 teaspoon of premium sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 
2 teaspoon if veg oil
1/4 salt

STEPS FOR PREPARATION:

I will start by cutting the potato in rounds as here above

Will then peel the potatoes , slashing it into twos.

Next is wash the peeled potatoes and set it on the cooker, cover to boil faster.

And once it cooks, tasted with a fork 🍴, will sieve it into a basket 🧺 and allow to drain properly

Will take it into a bowl 🥣 here and mash it using a fork 🍴

And once it’s mashed , I will add the cake flour and mix to incorporate.

Added also the sugar, salt and margarine here above

Then will use the tips of my fingers to mix and incorporate them.

Here added the vanilla extract and the vegetable oil.

And will finally properly mix them all to form a dough of potatoes.

Next is to cut the potato dough into two here,

And will spread the dough here using the rolling wood.

Then sprinkle some sugar on the spread dough here.

To roll the potato dough, I will cut the spread in strips  and gradually will roll each strip downward forming a shape of roll.

Once the potato rolls are ready, I will coat the tops with some sugar for caramelizing when it bakes

And will take it into the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 200 C•

What recipes can we not make from potatoes if we wants to always enjoy something different from potatoes 🥔 be it Irish or sweet potatoes because of its versatility. Enjoy this appetizer as a snack, with tea or at those little hunger times.
