Hope to meet you all in wellness again today as I bring to share some amazing drinks with you. An extra easy ice tea 🍵 drink you will love to prepare because its packed with lots of citrus flavors and very rich 🤑. Slightly lemony, slightly sweet, this iced tea is perfect for those who love to drink iced tea 🍵
Actually this recipe is one that we can enjoy in summer as ice teas are best enjoyed chilled and as the month of June is counting, we will soon welcome July, warming up for summer 😎☀️⛱. This kinds of drinks are always a hit during summer while enjoying the beach 🏖 with family and friends.
Homemade drinks like Lemonade, Iced Coffee☕️, and this Iced Teas 🍵are always the kind of drinks to enjoy in summer ☀️but we can as well make them when the weather is hot or heatwave days. And this very recipe is extra easy since my ice tea was a storebought, but you can make your ice tea from scratch by just adding your choice of tea bags in hot water, allow to infuse and cool down before adding the lemon 🍋, orange, lime and some sweetener if desired.
This very ice tea I used is lemon 🍋 flavored, which is why I have decided to just add some zested orange, orange slices and lime slices to enhance the recipe for more of the citrus enrichment and flavors. You can decide to make it in your own choice of version or choose to add mint to this very version which I omitted. A recipe you will turn to when you are entertaining or when you simply need something incredibly quenching on a hot summer day.
Here I share the process step by step with you.
INGREDIENTS:
1 large glass of ice tea (measured)
2 small fresh lime
1 fresh succulent orange
# STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.
We will start the recipe by first cutting the washed and dry orange and lime to also deseed them.
And furthermore slice some into pieces as above.
Step 2.
Then will zest the other half of the orange,
Step 3.
We have the zest, orange and lime readily here.
Step 4.
Next we measure out a large glass of the Iced Tea
Step 5.
And here we readily will combine the ingredients together.
Add the slice of orange, then the sliced pieces.
And the zest here above.
Step 6.
Finally, we add the ice tea into the jug
As here above.
And add the last slice of lime.
To me this drink is the very best there is, on a very hot day. Or a drink we can add to our recipes of drinks for summer 😎⛱as we warm up for brighter weather days.
Few weeks ago I visited an aunt after haven’t seen her for a while. And with lots of fresh lemons in her house, I decided to make some iced tea 🍵 for her with them, adding honey 🍯. Although there were no black teas but green tea 🍵 since she prefers to drink green teas instead of black teas. She could not believe how delicious it was. I know you will love to try this recipe.
