


š.Hello hivers and friends of vegan family. Sometimes we crave for something spicy and delicious in a vegetable especially one that will look savory and appetizing.Ā
Let me introduce you to this delicious savory version of spicy spinach with some turmeric and added soy that you will definitely love yo try.
The freshness of this spinach is what attracted me when I saw it while picking little items in a local market on my way home from work.
The freshness is so irresistible that I was forced to purchase it to prepare some veganĀ š±Ā delight to share here with you. Spinach can be prepared in various versions, using simple ingredients from the-pantry and here I have used some spices, adding turmeric and soy.

The soy added more natural sweetness to make it delicious.One thing about this very recipe is its simplicityĀ Ā and straightforwardness once you have gathered the ingredients together, and we can prepare this recipe to serve it with any lunchĀ š„Ā or dinnerĀ š„Ā of our choice from warm riceĀ š, spaghettiĀ š, macaroni and even boiled potatoesĀ š„Ā and plantainsĀ š
.Here I show you the steps to prepare and enjoy this delicious savory recipe.Ā
INGREDIENTS:


1 bunch of spinachĀ
1 tablespoon of soy sauceĀ
1/2 teaspoon of turmericĀ
5 seeds of cherry tomatoes
6 hot peppers
2 cloves of garlicĀ
1/2 thumb of gingerĀ
1/2 teaspoon of curry powderĀ
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of powdered chiliĀ
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.


First thing to do is to wash and slice the cherry tomatoes, pepper, garlic and ginger.
Step 2.


Ā I will use the manual blender to blend them together to have some texture the way I prefer it. As above.
Step 3.


I will pluck the spinach to remove some hard stems.
Step 4.



I will wash the spinach thoroughly sterilizing it, then leaving it in a basket to drain.

As here above.
Step 5.



And will slice the spinach vegetable, and have it ready here with the blend.
Step 6.

Will boil and pour some hot water into the spinach to soften and remove some of its bitterness since I donāt want to add sugar to it.
Ā Step 7.


And will drain it after about 2 minutes as shown here above.
Step 8.


And to fry, I will heat up the veg oil, adding the blend to fry to tender . Stir and add the spices and incorporate.
Step 9.Ā



And will add a little water,Ā Ā stir, and once it starts heating up will add the soy sauce.
Step 10.



Stir and add the spinach and allow to cook for few minutes to dry a bit. Ā
