Coconut 🥥 is a very healthy nut that can help boost our heart ♥️ health. The coconut meat which is the white part contains oil which may help boost the good cholesterol in our body known as HDL research said, and will at the same time reduce bad cholesterol called LDL.

Improvements on eating coconut 🌴🥥definitely will increase our chances of staying with a healthier heart ♥️ and reducing the risk of heart disease. We should at the same time know that coconut is low in carbs and high in fiber and fat which it’s why its a great choice for those in low carbs consumption.

Today I bring to my vegan 🌱 family a simple recipe of coconut made in a delicious snack treat everyone will love ❤️. Its a sweet, crunchy coconut chips in candy form. This recipe has the perfect combination of whole thinly chopped coconut, caramelized sugar and vanilla essence for that vanilla flavor. And I have made this recipe to treat my family as dessert with the weekend approaching. 

This coconut is made in a flakes chips texture, chewy snacks, with a sweetness that is purely balanced in that vanilla flavor of a caramelized sugar that leaves us wanting more. A delicious treat for the whole family 🥰 or even when friends are visiting.

Here I share the step by step with you.

INGREDIENTS:

1 medium size fresh coconut
30 g of premium sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence 

STEPS FOR PREPARATION:

 First thing to do here is to crack open the coconut

Then will break into smaller pieces to help me remove the meat from the shell .

Next I will wash the coconut meat placing them in a drainer to drain water as above.

And here will start slashing each piece before thinly cutting the coconut

And we have the coconut readily here.

I will cut open the sugar and measure out 30g. As above.

To roast the coconut a bit, I will glaze the pan with vegetable oil, heating it up here and adding the thinly chopped coconut

Then gradually will stir it into some light brown color.

And will caramelize the sugar adding just little water to make it stay loose, then the vanilla.

Here will add the golden crunchy coconut chips, stirring to incorporate properly.

Lower heat to gradually stick together and bring it down to mold.

Will grate fresh coconut 🌴🥥here as toppings.

Some evidence suggests that lauric acid , an antioxidants present in coconut milk may help prevent stroke as well. And the consumption of coconut and coconut oil was found to be very healthy for our system especially the heart ❤️.
