Happy Sunday to you all and hope you are enjoying wellness. Today I will be sharing with you another recipe from my kitchen, and this time its a healthy toasted cucumberĀ š„Ā alongside some drops of veggies of carrotĀ š„Ā and onion stem for a side dish.
Recipes are something we can create out of anything food, vegetables or fruits. And cucumberĀ š„Ā being a vegetable with lots of health benefits, vitamins and nutrients is one that can also serve as food or side dishes and not just for eating raw or making drinks.Ā

Their mild taste and refreshing crunch make them suitable for adding to saladsĀ š„, sandwichesĀ š„ŖĀ or accompanying rich or highly flavored dishes, such as curries and stews, but this recipe is one that shows how we can also toast our cucumber with some dips into flour crumbs that will leave it crispy after toasting. Its very simple , quick and straightforward with just few ingredients, cucumberĀ š„Ā being the base.
Below I will share a step by step process with you friends.
INGREDIENTS:

1 large fresh cucumberĀ
50 g of all purpose flour
1/2 of o big carrotĀ
1 fresh onion stemĀ
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking powderĀ
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of vegetable oil.
1 teaspoon of margarine
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1,



We will start this recipe by first washing the cucumber thoroughly adding salt.
Step 2.


Next we slice cut the cucumber into two, then slash cut it open to remove the seeds.

Step 3.



We will cut the cucumber into finger strips here aboveĀ Ā to keep readily.


Then we wash and cut the carrot and onion stem with little green pepperĀ š«Ā I came across in the refrigerator.
Step 4.Ā


Here we mix the flour into crumbs adding salt, baking powder, sugar.

Stir properly here to incorporate.

We add the margarine and incorporate too.
Step 5.



Here we dip the finger strip cucumber into the flour for coatingĀ


And lined it up for toasting into a glazed pan here aboveĀ



ThenĀ Ā we mix the other veggies adding vegetable oil and salt
.Step 6.



We will then add the mixed veggies as garnishing here above.Ā
Step 7.

We take it into the oven and toast it for just 15 minutes at 200 Celsius, allowing the cucumber to dry and crisp up.Ā


How deliciously we can enjoy our cucumbers by also toasting them for light lunch or as a side dish, accompanying it with anything. Its taste so good and you can pair this toast with any vegetable of your choice or make it in your own version. I recommend this healthy side dish to you all.
