Hello hive friends, I think I'm just in time for my entry for this weeks Shadow Hunters.
As I entered our room tonight, I saw this insect that looks like it came from the horror movies. A moth that has a fork like thing coming out from its body.
I'm not sure if this is a natural thing happening to them, it's my first time seeing it. It looks like a parasite is coming out from its body. I observed the insect for may be 10 minutes , it's creepy I'm telling you.
I took a closer look, the thing is coming out from it's behind. My kid wanted to touch it but I stopped him since I don't know what it is, haha . A lot of weird thing really do happen in nature and this is one of them I guess.
After a while the things all went inside the moth's body. It is now again looking normal.
I prefer this look of the insect, it's more friendly looking . I'm still puzzled by that thing, anyone what that is?
Looks like I found a new hobby, I will be looking out for things like this happening since a lot of insects is visiting our house during night time and maybe I can get a lot of beautiful and creepy shadows.
