The summer has officially ended , and now comes the rain. The thirst of the soil has been quenched and so the plants are very happy for this. And as a proof of that I will show our lolo's front yard and his plants.
First stop is his long line of dragon fruits, this plant has been here for years now. Our lolo just trim it after gathering its fruit so that the leaves will not be over crowded.
We just love how he maximized the space in his house, underneath the dragon fruit is a high rip rap that is never utilized until he planted dragonfruit.
Buds are now starting to pop, just a couple of days we can now the beautiful white flowers . Just seeing this buds makes us excited for it's fruits. Whenever we want to eat we can just pick from here if we see a ripe fruit and they taste delecious.
Next in our lolos front yard fruits is the bountiful lemon tree. He cut down this a few year back but it grew new branches and now it has a lot of fruit.
Lemon has a lot of use for use, we use it when grilling pork as marinade. Also we use them for juice specially during cold weather when were having colds . And what amazing about it is it's bearing fruit year round, so it's safe to say we have unlimited supply and we have a couple of lemon trees in the yard.
And last but not the least is the very nutritious pineapple.
The pineapple were just planted on broken water battles , our lolo used a compost soil and I guess the nutrients of the soil made this fruit grow big. We have like 20 of this lined up just beside the dragon fruit. Looking at this fruits just in the yard makes me appreciate farming more. We don't just get fruit from this plants but it also makes the house more beautiful and the air fresher. The green color around is also very refreshing to the eyes.
