It's a new week and I warmly welcome you all to my blog, I just hope your weekend was cool and came out the way you wanted it to.
Well I want to talk about the over hyped food that I have ever tested, considering the topics of the week.
I know we all have had this experience through one way or the other about foods and their popularity

especially in my country Nigeria where people, chefs, cooks and random people like trying new things and as such we have as a country made so many meals out of what has already been there.

I have always been desperate to have a test of this food called shawarma or is it a snack?🤷 Because of how it's has been in the top chart of so many people around me so their sweet talk left me thinking about it so one day I decide that I will have a test of it.
Where I work we do have things like that around, there is a place you can buy a dried sauce fish, chicken and chips then a shawarma hut where you can buy your shawarma.
I met with my colleague at work then I told him “how far what do you think about this shawarma I think we have a test of it” he smiled and said “no problem if you want we can get it” so we contributed money to get the shawarma, so after we divided to equal size I was surprised from the taste I got, it seems everything was half done so I couldn't eat the shawarma any longer I have it out to someone, I was so sucked and short of words, I thought if this is the same shawarma people have been shouting about or was it because of my first time, I was so confused and disappointed.
However it was the money I used to buy this piece of over hype trash that bordered my because I could have use the same money to get my self a good fried rice.
Reasons why I don't like shawarma
I guess I should have a test of it in another place to be really sure about this.
My reason for disliking shawarma is particularly because of the test, I can't eat what doesn't taste to my liking, another reason is that it makes me feel like vomiting, someone told it is because I have not tasted a good shawarma before that why I feel is not worth it, secondly she said she had an experience that was close to mine on her first time eating a shawarma, lastly shawarma is also expensive, with how the country is now everyone is looking to survive the harsh economy so buying a shawarma is like a misplaced priority when I can use the same amount of money to cook at least rice in which I can eat twice and be satisfied. Even though I could try my fate again it wouldn't be my money,
This experience made remember a song by tekno, which says “another man food is another man poison, monkey no find but him mama like am” what I'm saying here is my personal experience which of course can't be what other people experience.
It's been a while since I posted here though.
