It's been months. It was 1st March 2025, when we @moaz-sabir and I were going to enjoy time in farmers market Islamabad. We met on a metro station, quite sunny time. At first, we had a normal breakfast from a local Quetta Cafe and bought one water bottle. Then, we booked a ride and headed to Farmer's market. We reached the spot where market is located but that day it was closed. Not me, but also Moaz was surprised. He was kinda angry that why i didn't first check it on their website? I felt a little off and asked from gatekeeper. Gatekeeper told us that this market will remain closed in this whole month for Ramadan, and it will get open after Eid.

I wanted to show crazy and different energy of Farmer's market to Moaz. We both came from such humble backgrounds that even a small Farmer's market could make us happy.
As Farmer's market was closed so we molded our happiness and were decided to go to Japanese children park that is closed to this farmers market.

It was like we have entered again into our child life. Happiness comes from within. No matter where you are, you can be happy if your internal environment is happy. We both were feeling so good and happy at the same time because were together.
Well after sometime Moaz started feeling bore in that park. Actually now he became familiar with that park and wanted to explore something that is new to his mind and eyes. Then we headed to Saidpur Village.

After working for at least 15 minutes we reached a village called Saidpur. This village is 500 year old and it still has old temples that became famous tourist site for many foreigners and local history lovers.

With time this village is also shifting towards mordenity. Capital development authority is changing the village and commercialising it. I think this action of development authority is bad they should not commercialize this old site as it will lose its charm and will look artificial.
Already there are so many artificial hotels and restaurants that have occupied the place of old residencies and might have destructed historical landmarks in order to build these new structures for economic gains.

I have visited this village so many times. If I am not wrong I might have been at least more than three times. Whenever I have guest I try to take him to Saidpur village but often I find out that not everyone has interest in history and in architecture as I have.
Usually gate to the stairs that lead us to witness the beauty of Temple from height above remained close, but luckily that day the gate was opened and we went upstairs to see the charm of temples from air above.

From very little height we observed the beauty of hills and this old village where religious harmony could be easily observed. Sikh and Hindu temples are infront of each other and just some feets away there is a Mosque.

We were fortunate enough that temple's door was also opened that day. I went into the temple, there was nothing inside only walls and echo and not anything else. Time has taken many things with it.

We have explored enough and it was time to head back home. That's what we did.
See you next 💫 😘
