It’s the first of September today, and I don’t really have much to say other than to remind whoever comes across this post that life certainly throws some hits. People go down, some get up, and some don’t.
Don’t be the one who doesn’t get to get up.
I know it’s hard for so many people out there, including myself. Some days feel really dark, like you’re being sucked into a black hole and you’re unable to control how you move. It feels like a nightmare that breaks you completely, where you’re unable to move or scream. You just lie there, watching everything happen around you while desperately wishing you could find the strength to pull yourself out.
But please, don’t let it keep you down forever.
Even if all you can do right now is get through the day, let that be enough. You don’t always have to have everything figured out. Sometimes surviving the difficult days is an achievement on its own.
In a blink of an eye, 2026 will come to an end. Most of us haven’t been able to achieve half the things we wrote down as resolutions when the year began, but that’s okay. It’s not your fault. The economy is difficult, life is unpredictable, and sometimes it feels like all your effort is going to waste. But maybe not everything has to happen this year.
Take hold of whatever positivity you have left and just live. Take a walk. Step outside and feel the sun on your skin. Look at the sky. Smile at a stranger. Call someone you love. Find little reasons to stay hopeful, even when the bigger reasons seem difficult to find.

One day, the sun will shine on your path again and the flowers will blossom.
Your life will become like a beautiful garden in the morning light after rainfall, filled with the most beautiful, sweet-smelling flowers. And when you look back at this particular season of your life, you’ll realise that you were stronger than you thought you were.
So, if September finds you struggling, I hope you remember that you are still here, there is still time. There are still mornings you haven’t woken up to, people you haven’t met, places you haven’t seen, and beautiful moments you haven’t experienced yet.
I hope this new month brings us all joy and peace. I hope we find reasons to laugh again, reasons to look forward to tomorrow, and reasons to be grateful for today. May we smile more often in September.
Happy new month, people. 🤍
