They recently secured $10 million seed funding from the likes of Haun Ventures along with Galaxy Digital, Superscrypt, Reciprocal, Portal Ventures, and others. I won't dwell more on RWAs and what Plume Network think about it all. Do some research on their blog
This has led to a Testnet being launced, and this is Season One.
Incentivised Testnet
Most of you will know all about testnets, but for those who don't, a testnet is an identical copy of a blockchain network which is created solely for testing out new products and features.
A user performs functions and reports successes and any failures to the team. This is often done via the network asking you to perform tasks.
At some point the testnet will close and usually the user is rewarded for taking part.
Tips on testnet participation
Testnets are like anything else, you need consistency. If you try to perform a couple of tasks on a 100 testnets. You will be rewarded with a big fat fluff all... So it is much better to do maybe 5 testnets at any one time, but coplete all the tasks daily! So be selective and look for crypto users you trust and respect that are doing it.
The second thing is if you do join a testnet, choose who you join with carefully. People love to help their referrals, they don't necessarily take kindly to helping someone else who did not join with them.
What will be doing?
In theory performing tasks, learning about RWAs and being rewarded at teh end!

You are a Plume Goon in a wee plane, and you will travel around the world. Flyin from country to country, these countries representing Plume partners and projects.
Once you sign up, you will receive your own invite code and Plume Goon passport!

So let’s climb into that plane and become part of the Goon Squad.
First things first.
If you have not already joined, then join this my link to the testnet
Decide on your wallet and make sure you have your Wallet Guard or similar running.... You can never be too careful, beware of wallet drainers.
I actually use OKX as the EVM wallet I am using to carry out all my Plume testnet tasks. But use whichever one you want.
You will see :
EARN MILES , PLUME TASKS , UPCOMING TASKS
We are going to jump to PLUME TASKS first, as this will make things clearer ...
PLUME TASKS has three sections :
If you look at my Completed section that is what you start with ...
So connect your X and do the tasks and then connect Discord. You will see your points start to go up. If you want to complete all those One Time tasks now, then go ahead.
CHECK-IN
Click the Check-In on the Earn Miles tab or the menu header.

You can see ✔️ means that you have successfully checked in. Blank spaces means either you have not successfully checked in or it is not open yet!
Check-in resets at 00:00 UTC and you check-in once per day.
If you check in 5 times in a row, you get a re-roll for a new Plume Goon NFT.
I did my re-roll yesterday and got an epic GOON!
FAUCET
Click on FAUCET on the EARN MILES page or we can click under Recurring Tasks and click on Drip from Faucet
You will see this screen.
✔️ First claim ETH and then
✔️ claim GOON
(We can collect ETH every 10 minutes and GOON every 2 hours)
Now that we have GOON we need to go back to Recurring Task and click on ...
Swap on Ambient
and you will see
Now you will notice that we have already completed number 1 getting tokens from the faucet so click on number 2 ...
Swap $GOON for $goonUSD on Ambient
which brings up ...
It should default to the amount of GOON that you collected from the testnet, in this case 0.1 GOON.
We will need those goonUSD for the next step so go ahead and click Confirm ...
I know I am probably telling your granny how to suck eggs now, but it is ALWAYS a GOOD HABIT to get into and that is double check what you are swapping is corrent ...
Yes it is, so hit Confirm again ...
And the tx (transaction) number will be shown. It will vanish quickly but you can always see it if you go into Block Explorer.
Now we want to get earning so head back to EARN MILES page and click on Stake On NEST...

This screen pops up ...
As before we had already completed point 1 the faucet and just now point 2 the swapping so click on point 3...
Stake and Earn on Nest
You will be able to stake what you just converted (99 goonUSD)
Once successfully staked, a window will pop up with your new staking balance.
You can also claim your rewards...
Go to the CLAIM tab and I will show you mine as I have something to claim!
Check your progress in PASSPORT
Easy huh!
RINSE and REPEAT
Come back at least daily, I usually pop in a few times a day to collect the faucet.
This is a great UI and the sites are all smooth and glitch free. Really it is a pleasure using it.
