Windy autumnal waves at Seafield harbour in Scotland

Hello Hello Hivians
Autumn is well and truly here in Scotland, although we have sun in the day, it comes with wind and a drop in temperature.
The wind of course makes for some wonderful crashing waves to see!
The day really was a beauty and the sun was shining!
So without further ado let's get out there!

We are in the Kingdom of Fife on the East coast of Scotland and starting off at Seafield beach before heading to the harbour and the ruins of the sea wall.

As you can see it was fair windy and the flag was showing its full imagery stating what a wonderful beach this was.

You can see the ruins of the sea wall in the distance, it is approaching high tide so hopefully we will see some waves or breakers crashing against the wall.

We can walk along the trail and we might do that on the way back, but to start with let's get onto that beach.

One thing about grassy sand dunes here is that with all the wind they suffer from erosion, this sign basically telling you that unless jump you ain't getting down to beach from there!

So yes it was barriered off and down to a more suitable access point we went.

Much better and now we can head towards those cracking waves at the wall!

Oh yes it was whipping up nicely. I might walk up top, there is a narrow ledge you can climb up onto behind the wall.

In saying that, I may get wet if I do!

Meantime back to the beach and you can tell the sun was up there, and its rays popped the clouds to brighten up the sky.

The wind turbine had no problems in turning its three blades. I did take lots of short videos, I might pop them onto InLeo shorts later, or make a fuller length video we shall see.

Right then, look at these waves!

I just love this one, it is as if the big one is about to devour everything in its path!

While I was talking those pictures the guy below was doing the same thing.

He came up to me asking if I had caught him getting wet. I had been filming and did catch him coming into shot shaking his boots, but alas I did not capture the wave getting him.
People forget the tide comes in!

Now then remember I said you could on the wall?

This then is the wide angle view from the wall!

There you can see ledge and where to clamber up to. The other side has quite a drop as it is a decent sized wall!

This then was the view from uptop. I didn't walk along it as I was not in the mood to either get wet or blown over! Was not getting my new expensive phone thrown into the sea either!

So the other photographer was using the sewer pipe as his camera tripod base.

I am not going to lie, but I was secretly hoping a rogue wave would soak his feet again, he did seem quite nifty at scooping up his camera so I was sure it would be safe.

I left him be, and went back via the coastal trail.

It was fun watching these two escort us back. The little back pup thought he was the dogs bollocks but when the big Red Setter turned around, the little one came scampering back to us!
Fun times, and then we were at the car park.

Where I took the opportunity to avail myself of the plastic trash I found on the beach.
Don't litter folks, bin it or take it home!
So long Seafield see you soon!

Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your day!
