Este fin de semana estuve atendiendo un pedido de maxi-lazos, ¿la curiosidad?, todos estan hechos con tela reciclada de viejos uniformes de una amiga doctora ('• ω • `) ♡
Siempre es lindo darle una segunda oportunidad a las cosas en lugar de tirarlas a la basura, especialmente si se trata de tela de buena calidad.

This weekend I was attending to an order of maxi bows, the curiosity? they are all made with recycled fabric from old uniforms of a doctor friend ('• ω • `) ♡
It's always nice to give things a second chance instead of throwing them away, especially if it's good quality fabric.

✦ The fabric used to make these uniforms is highly durable and retains its beautiful colors even with frequent laundering ✦
✦ From the top of one of the uniforms, I was able to extract enough material to make 3 accessories ✦

✦ To achieve this armed result, I resorted to the always reliable "apply iron at high temperature" ✦

✦ It took me a whole day to make all these loops. When you are working with recycled fabric, you have to think very carefully about which direction to cut the fabric in order to get the rectangles with the right dimensions ✦

✦ The truth is that it can take a long time to decide how you are going to cut the fabric, it is the most difficult part of the process, sewing them is another story, that takes a few minutes ✦

✦ They are very, very beautiful! I made them late at night and I was very tired; I didn't have time to do a proper photo shoot because the next morning my client had to take them to work for a person who was going on a trip ✦

I hope everyone is having a nice month of October, I am very happy fulfilling many different sewing projects 🐑 🧶
