It most certainly isn't Tuesday, and only now am I getting this post published from a couple days ago. I've been feeling a little under the weather, and it has really slowed me down. With any luck I'll be back to 100% in just a few days, but the least I could do is finish up this fun post.
This past week I finally got around to watching the movie Nobody 2, I'm a big fan of the first flick and the second one didn't disappoint. I know @bozz like the first one as well, the second one is streaming on Peacock if you haven't seen it yet. While watching the movie I heard a remake of a song I have known and loved for years, "Ring of Fire" by the late great Johnny Cash. Recently @geneeverett played another remake of this song as well by the Descendents.
That got me thinking that it might be fun to put together a Three Tune Tuesday with rock n' roll songs with a Western sound. So that what I put together today, including the song from Nobody 2. But first off I want to say thank you to @ablaze for starting and continuing to sponsor this fun weekly event where you can share three songs that you enjoy. One lucky participant will win some HSBI units, you can't have too many of those! So if you don't already participate feel free to jump in, just use the tag #ttt or #threetunetuesday and it's never a bad idea to do a shoutout to @ablaze .
So here we go, diving into the fun first off with Volbeat doing their salute to "Doc Holliday". I talked about him just a couple weeks ago here. This is a great song!

Volbeat
This band formed in 2007 in Copenhagen, Denmark. They have gone on to become one of the biggest hard rock/heavy metal bands out there. In 2013 they dedicated a full album to the old American West called Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies. I think my favorite song off of the album was "Lola Montez", but I also like "Doc Holliday":

Des Rocs
If you somehow missed the movie Nobody, it's one I highly recommend. Now we have Nobody 2 which I thoroughly enjoyed as well. Both are very well done movies! They had Des Rocs do a cover of the Johnny Cash great song "Ring of Fire", and he did with style. Check it out:

Metallica
It's hard to leave these guys off any hard rock song list with a Western influence as lead singer James Hetfield is a country music fan. One song of theirs you can really get the feel is "The Unforgiven", although there are technically three parts of it, today we'll just go with part 1:

Johnny Cash
And there is no way to not add in the original "Ring of Fire" by the Man in Black himself, enjoy:

That will wrap up this Three Tune Tuesday on Thursday! I do hope you enjoyed the picks of the days and enjoyed them. Please feel free to leave any comments or questions below. And as always thank you so much for all of your support. Have a great Thursday everyone!
