The price of Bitcoin over the last week continues to be impressive. Just a few months ago who would have believed that by mid December it would be at $107,000? Isn't this exciting?

Unfortunately Hive is not faring quite as well, down to $0.285 as of my last check a few minutes ago. That push to $0.40 just wasn't sustainable, but hopefully will turn around in the very near future!

Now moving away for cryptocurrency, it's Tuesday and I usually share a fun Three Tune Tuesday. Today will be no exception. First off I just wanted to say thanks to @ablaze for starting and continuing to sponsor this weekly event. You can here great music from around the world and it really is a lot of fun. If you don't participate already why don't you give it a try and join us. Plus one random winner receives some HSBI every week!

Last week I was thinking of a theme for today, and I mentioned possibly sharing some Creedence Clearwater Revival with my friend @silvertop . That gave me the idea to try and pull some songs from the very late 60's and early 1970's to share in a post. All of these songs come from before my time, but I've always thought they were amazing music.

So first up I will start with a band most people probably haven't heard of before, but the song you will recognize!

This very short lived band was formed in 1970 in London, England and disbanded the following year. What is so important about the band is the singer and guitarist was none other than Eric Clapton. It was this band that wrote one of his most career defining songs, "Layla". The song was inspired by Clapton's infatuation with his friend's wife Pattie Boyd. This friend was George Harrison of The Beatles. "Layla" became a major hit come 1972 after the band had already called in splits.

Often called CCR, the band formed in 1968 in the San Francisco Bay area in California, and by 1972 they had already disbanded. Although short lived as a band they produced string of hit songs from 1969 through 1971. Lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter John Fogerty formed the band with his brother Tom and friends Doug Clifford and Stu Cook. Tensions quickly grew as John was doing most of the work and left the band in 1971. He continues to perform some of CCR's song in his solo group until this day. Thing is a song I always liked since hearing since I was a kid, "Lookin' Out My Back Door"

Formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas this legendary band consisted of Billy Gibbons on vocals and guitar, Dusty Hill on bass and vocals, and Frank Beard on drums for over 50 years. In 1973 they had their huge breakout album "Tres Hombres" with the hit "La Grange". They went on to become rock n roll legends inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame in 2004. The lineup only changed upon the death of Dusty Hill in 2021, but the band continues on until this day. Here is their hit "La Grange" live, recorded in 1980.
