Monday sure has proven to be a great day for crypto so far. It's been nice to see Hive over $0.10 again, it feels like it's been ages! Let's hope this rally continues over the next week through Christmas, it would be a great present for all of us!
Today I decided to share some more silver from my collection and chose a timeless beauty. The silver American Eagle bullion coin is one Troy ounce of pure precious metal and was designed as an investment tool for those wishing to invest in silver bullion. The design was based on the Walking Liberty half dollar that was produced from 1916 until 1947 here in the US. It was a shame it was ever changed!
I'm not exactly sure where or when I picked this one up. I must have gotten a good deal because it does have some milk spots on it so I wouldn't have been willing to pay much of a premium. But at any rate, it's still a nice coin, have a look:

This coins was minted in West Point, New York and that year there was a mintage of 10, 676, 552. Right now they selling for about $95 in uncirculated condition which this one is even though it has a few milk spots from oxidation. These are great coins and are a great way to invest in silver as they are one Troy ounce of pure metal. On top of that they have the iconic Walking Liberty design that I have always loved. The eagle design on the back was changed in 2022, but I prefer the original. I don't know why they have to mess with perfection...
Silver
Silver is officially at $69, which means only one more dollar to hit $70 which I have been predicting will happen by Christmas. I may have called it right! Have a look at the chart over the last five days:

Silver is on an absolute tear as the demand far outpaces the supply. This trend will likely continue well into next year as there isn't enough refining capacity to keep up with demand. There is definitely time to still get in on the action! It's a solid investment that will always have value. Will it stay this high forever? I don't know. It may never come back down, but chances are there will be some correction at some point. Only time will tell!
