Somehow Sunday snuck up on me again. Seems to come faster every week! As usual I'll be doing my HSBI giveaway again today. I believe in spreading around the wealth and helping out others here on Hive, and HSBI is a great way to build your account especially as a new member. And you can never have too many HSBI units!
About a year ago or maybe a little longer I started doing giveaways of HSBI. At the time I had 11 units total and wasn't getting many curations. Today I have 2,622 HSBI units, many from sponsoring giveaways and I was lucky to win a couple contests that paid out a couple hundred HSBI. I'm a big believer in the program!
Also I want to remind everyone that the DUO token raffle with three prizes of 50 DUO each ends this week. To participate you just need to sponsor any number of HSBI units to @duo-curator . You can also author a post about DUO as well for bonus entries. Check the post link for details if you're interested. So far there are only about 121 entries that I'm aware of so there's a good chance of winning one or more of the prizes. Otters took the top spot. There are many varieties of otter, these are sea otters. There are also the river varieties, but they are very cute little creatures. I've only ever seen one in the wild on a beach in Carmel, California back in the mid 90's when I was on vacation there. Most of the 90's I lived outside the US, but I came back for vacations from time to time! This was well after Clint Eastwood was the mayor of Carmel, that was back in the late 80's I believe.

The capybara is a cute animal that is from South America. It's closely related to the guinea pig and is the largest rodent species on earth. When I lived in South America I never saw any of these in the wild, but that would have been a lot fun.

Since I'm posting on InLeo and one pick was the lion I had to include one of these. This picture is amazing! How often do you see a lion in snow? I never have! They are a very large and dangerous animals, which is why they've been in many royal family's coat of arms over the centuries. I wouldn't want to get to close to one of these out on the African savannah!

Another pick was the wolf. They are pretty animals that were hunted to extinction here in the US at one time. They are being reintroduced into the wild, but I've never seen one or even heard one howl in the wild. Another animal that was hunted to extinction here in the US is the jaguar. Sadly they haven't been reintroduced yet, I hope they are at some point, very pretty animals!
We even had one pick as the cockroach. I'll pass on finding pictures to share of that species though.
Well, onto to today's contest!
Today's question: What is your favorite mythical creature or monster? It can be ancient from the time of the Greeks until today. Even Dracula and the Chupacabra are candidates!
There are some that argue that the Chupacabra is real but I'm not one of them! lol
For me this is a tough one because the Hydra was pretty cool. I think I would have to go with the Skin-walkers. Beasts that can appear as people then shapeshift into wolves. They are a Native American tradition particularly in the Navajo and tribes in the western US.
The Giveaway

All valid entries will be placed on the Wheel of Names and I will spin it four times. The first prize will be 5 HSBI units. The second prize will be another 5 HSBI units. And the third prize will be two DUO tokens. Fourth prize is a legendary Splinterlands card or one HSBI unit! And since I am spinning the same wheel four times in a row it is theoretically possible for the same person to win all four prizes! Although I have yet to see it happen, maybe this week?
