I can't believe it's Sunday again, where did Saturday go? As with every Sunday I'll be giving away some HSBI and DUO tokens. I'll also throw a legendary Splinterlands card in there just for fun. To enter all you will need to do is answer the entry question after all of the dogs featured today. Last weeks entry question was about your favorite dog breed, and I got some great answers. Some I hadn't even heard of before!

German Shepherd

This was the overall winner by far; picked by @olaf.gui , @ronnie10 , @henruc, @elizabethbit and @gwajnberg .
These beautiful dogs were bred to be working dogs and love to stay active. They are frequently trained for police and military purposes, but are also a popular pet. They are loving dogs that tend to be very protective of their owners and don't readily trust strangers making them a good guard dog. The are intelligent and easily trainable, I've always wanted one myself but once I had a child in the house I went with a golden retriever instead.
Shepherd's were a common pick including related (but different) dogs like the Australian Shepherd by @sylmarill , and Anatolian shepherd by @servelle .
Golden Retriever

Initially bred in Scotland the golden retriever is an affectionate and gentle working dog. Their friendly nature makes them frequently chosen as pets in families with smaller children. Many are trained as seeing eye dogs or entered into obedience contests because they are easily trainable. I love this breed, they make great pets!

Dalmatian

Initially bred as a hunting dog with roots in Croatia, these lovable pets have become popular world wide. @silvertop and @elizabethbit had a pair of these for many years. They have been extensively inbred sadly, and have many health problems. There is a project currently ongoing to breed healthy and friendly Dalmatians to try to eliminate to diseases that came from years of inbreeding. I had a friend who had one of these and adored it, however she always told me he wasn't very smart, probably a result of inbreeding!

Bred initially in Wales as a shepherd this breed may not be all that common in the US, and I didn't know much about them. They first arrived in the US in 1933 and have become very popular as pets. Thanks for this pick @kerrislravenhill !

This is Peggy, a Pugese breed, and was named the Britain's ugliest dog. However, she has become a popular dog actor. She was picked to portray Dogpool in the movie "Deadpool & Wolverine". She's one of those dogs so ugly that she's cute. Although no one picked a Pugese, I had to add her because she's a star!

The Giveaway

Choosing the Winners
All valid entries will be placed on the Wheel of Names and I will spin it four times. The first prize will be 5 HSBI units. The second prize will be another 5 HSBI units. And the third prize will be two DUO tokens. Fourth prize is a legendary Splinterlands card or one HSBI unit! And since I am spinning the same wheel four times in a row it is theoretically possible for the same person to win all four prizes! Although I have yet to see it happen, maybe this week?
