What a wild ride the last twenty four hours have been in the price of Hive. It briefly dipped below $0.16 before making a quick recovery. That would have been a great moment to pick up some cheap Hive, but I was offline when it happened. I hope some of you were able to capitalize of the drop. At any rate it's still very inexpensive and unlikely to stay this low forever.

For the last couple of months I have been doing a series focusing on my experience with the premium membership program on InLeo. For those unaware of it's existence it's a paid service that costs 10 HBD a month or 100 HBD a year. In return you get some perks over the free version of InLeo. Many of those help you with help you on threads such as being able to publish longer ones and edit them. That has come in handy frequently for me anyway! The one I haven't dived into yet is the Auto-AI summary of the long posts for Threadstorms, I'll make a point to remember to try it out this next week and let you all know how it goes.
Above you can see the screenshot of my premium account status. I renewed it this past week because I have been seeing an overall profit on my investment of 10 HBD.
Another feature of premium not mentioned above is priority curation of your posts. It doesn't guarantee you a vote but curators manually review the posts from premium members first which is an important perk since you do pay for the service. So just as I have done before let's dive into some numbers to see how my investment so far is paying off.
So far in this new membership I have received one curation from @leo.voter for a total of $7.46. Removing the 55% that goes back to InLeo that leaves me with a total of $3.36. Subtract that from the initial 10 HBD investment and I am currently $6.64 in the red. However, this is still very early in this membership and there are still 26 days to go!

DUO token
A coupe months back I helped launch a new token along with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman . So far we've had a great response. The current token tranche is priced at one Hive a piece, so with cheap Hive come some discounted DUO tokens. It's a great time to take advantage and buy more of both!
The purpose of DUO token is to help onboard and retain new Hive members by building up enough HP to delegate a portion to the Hive Onboarding Committee. The benefits of holding the token are numerous, first off if you hold at least 200 staked DUO you can receive a daily curation on your quality posts and receive daily Hive dividends. Once you hold more than 500 tokens staked there is also a tipping bot function that allows you to tip DUO to authors and in return you get the same amount as the tip credited into your account as well. It pays to tip others with DUO!
