Inspired by one of the comments from my dear friend @cmplxty, I wanted to talk about this unfair behavior of the government against its citizens, not one country but almost all nations.
The government was established to represent leadership and authority in a country, and they do not just make money out of thin air, they get that money from us. Even if they can print money, we are the reason they are able to do that. If they print too much, the value of our own currency falls, and most governments look like they don't care about that at all.
What infuriates me the most is that the governments are more interested in collecting taxes and earning money than really helping people. It is about constantly creating new ways to squeeze a little more from us but keeping their faces turned away from the struggles of people who are into making something meaningful. As if they have eyes and turn them away when we point and say, "Look how bad that road is right now".
A lot of heavy taxation usually weigh upon small business owners. They get up, work hard, and want to succeed, but somehow the system seems more interested in taking than supporting. Pretty tough, isn't it, when the ones who are trying to make a difference are made to feel left out and without support?.
Instead, our governments ought to seek to bring balance into our lives. So many of us squeezed by rising costs and flat wages, but it feels like none of those in power is heeding the cries about very real problems.
They who are in power are running the government like a business, keen on making profits for themselves at the cost of people's needs. You can easily notice that they lost their purpose, to be empowering life for all and not just meeting their financial ends.
