See, have you ever been in a situation where a conversation comes up and it is “ What does a woman bring to the table?” and the responses that follow are, “She brings babies to the world and she also does house chores.” Well these might be important contributions, but that's barely scratches the surface of what women really do bring to the table.
So In reality , women do and bring so much for their family , community and even societies, women are the backbones of many families nowadays,, they always make sure they provide support, care, and even love to the family, some women are breadwinners if the family, some are innovators , leaders , etc.
Even with all these contributions, women are often greatly undervalued and also they get disrespected, they tell them to be submissive and to be quiet , they tell them to prioritise their families’ needs over their own. Which is utterly outrageous, with no complaint, or even an exception of rewards .
So it is not just a thing of society , but also one from the bible age, the bible says a woman should be submissive to their husband and it's always a husband should love his wife as Christ loved the church, this simply means that's his wives needs should be provided for and he should in return care for them.
So in other words , both a man and woman have different roles to play in their individual lives, men are not superior to women and women are not inferior to men, man and woman are equal partners that have been created in the image of God
Now the question what does a woman bring to the table?, a woman brings herself , her uniqueness, her skills, and also her experience to the tables , she brings in her compassion, her empathy, and also her kindness , she brings in her strength, her determination and resilience.Yed she also brings babies meaning she brings life, hope and joy to the table. She does house chores, , and that entails her orderliness, organizations and her beauty
So I ask that all this undervaluing should stop and also the disrespect, we need to start recognising and celebrating women's contribution in every aspect of our lives, women need to be treated with dignity and also with respect.
So I think and believe that we should use good and positive words to create that special culture that lifts and supports women.So that women can be seen, heard,feel and also valued in every aspects of their life.
So if a world where women are valued respected also powered , then we would have a more better world that would thrive more , grow and reach their full potentials, let's try to create that world, I believe we owe it to ourselves, our daughters,mothers and our sisters, because yeah…… we owe it to Humanity.
