While growing up definitely believed that success was in having plenty more to get all the things in life you want to get , well let's just say it's still part of it for now, cause you can't say you are successful and cannot fend for yourself right ? Well I do think so too.
In my teenage years, I always thought that finishing school and getting a good job was what I can call successful , but the more I grew I came to understand that in this life , the point is that you have enough means as an adult to sustain yourself because you never know the next thing that life will throws at you , and this way you get to say whether you are successful or not, yeah so the money aspect is a great part of it , yeah will know, let me use myself as an illustration.
During my teenage years I thought going to school was success, when I didnt have funds to go to school , shey I rester and ventured in other stuff to occupy that time, I did all kind of jobs ,just so that I can attain success, then I met someone who I thought was as they call it MR Right… Well to say he became my topmost priority and making him , my home happy because another success journey for me , still at the end point , it wasn't enough and eventually everything is just back to scratch, still thriving to get a degree, no home to care for, though my kids are what's keeping me going till now, lets just say I am thriving to be a better human for Their sake and for my sake as well, then you can say this will be what I call my own success, to everyone Succeeding comes in different angle and dimensions.
Let's not forget the fact that having money come to be the base of all This I'm thriving to achieve as a person, cause when there's money I think I he next think I will be thinking of is the motivation to see me through , just like how I pushed through OND and finished that phase , another phase is there to begin also to see through and when I do this I can say that I have succeeded in achieving things that I have laid out for myself as priorities and that's like a good one for me .
So In summary, success to me at this stage in life is making sure I have all my priorities sorted out and making sure I see myself do the things that others tell me I cannot achieve and that way i can bodily say I am successful, truly each of this stuff just has their own stages and all , but I guess with time and patience, dedication, commitment, one gets to achieve them all and can stand and say I am a successful person, cause no matter how little it may be to other eyes , so far you struggle and got yourself to that point it is a success story that needs to be heard and seen through.
