I decided to make a fan art of the Venari Scout. This is a very simple art. I've been thinking about trying out art, so I decided to try my hands with the Venari Scout.
I've come across this monster when one of my opponents used it in battle against me and it caught my interest. I have also used it in battle.
Let me talk about this monster. The Venari Scout is a monster of the earth element. It is a melee attack card with speed of 2, and a health of 4 at level 1. It is mostly suitable in the front row of battle due to its melee attack capability, but the disadvantage is that it doesn't have armor, making it susceptible to damages from attacks.
The Venari Scout also has the opportunity ability. This ability allows it to attack from any position in battle while also targeting the enemy card that has the lowest health. Another cool thing about this monster is that by level 6, it adds the dodge ability, giving it a greater chance (25%) of evading ranged or melee attacks.
Furthermore, at the highest level (level 10), the Venari Scout has a speed of 4, a health of 6, and 3 melee attacks.
Now let's get into the process
I wanted to give a possible view of the Venari Scout from the back, while also giving it a mean look in its hood.
So First, I drew the outlines.
Next, I focused on painting the eyes. I traced the outline of the eyes, making it bolder and then I painted it red and yellow.
After that, I moved on to painting the face. I gave it the characteristic purple color.
Next, I painted the clothing.
I proceeded to adding the shadows to the necessary places especially the face and the hood.
I also added the green background since it is an earth monster, and that was it.
