What's up plebs?!

Back with another silver coin, this time I figured to pick something that is not from Germany. But it's a country they were really good pals once upon a time 😊😂

So what we have here is a Japanese 100 yen piece from 1959, which falls in the Showa era:

The Shōwa era (昭和時代, Shōwa jidai, [ɕoːwadʑidai] ⓘ) was the period of Japanese history corresponding to the reign of Emperor Shōwa (commonly known in English as Emperor Hirohito) from December 25, 1926, until his death on January 7, 1989. It was preceded by the Taishō era and succeeded by the Heisei era. source

The obverse features prominently a sheaf of rice and in Japanese the text

This is a really small coin so as expected there's not much to see in the edge
