What's up plebs?!
Today I am here to show off the last of my gold notes from Antigua and Barbuda. Last for now that is, as I really love them and I am planning to buy more when they pop again for the right price!
So let's see what we have today :)

Looks like we have two birds and some flowers in the middle. As the small text on the note informs us, on the right we have a reddish Egret and on the list a Great Egret. As for the flowers in the middle they are Hibiscus.
This piece is part of the collection named "Beauties of the islands". Just like the other notes we have seen from the country, it's gold plated 0.958 silver. It's legal tender in the country (easy Caribbean dollar).
Below is some info on these two birds. Nothing special, just paraphrasing Wikipedia a bit 😂
The reddish egret (Egretta rufescens) is a medium-sized heron found in Central America, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Gulf Coast of the United States (primarily Texas), and Mexico. It is best known for its unusual foraging behavior compared to other herons as well as its association with mud flats, its habitat of choice.
Here's a photo of an individual:

The great egret is much more beautiful. Also known as the common egret, large egret, or (in the Old World) great white egret or great white heron it is a large, widely distributed bird consisting of four subspecies. The various subspecies occur in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and southern Europe.
And here are some close ups of the note. I tried my best but it's so shiny the photos came out meh:

And that concludes today's note! Here's a link to all the previous post I have made on them if you'd like to know more about their composition, history etc:
