What's up plebs?!

I had taken a small pause from stacking precious stuff recently but now with my cash reserves returning to where I like em to be I am back to buying shiny shit.

And these are the first things I got for the stack:

Yep, two more gold plated 30$ bills from Antigua and Barbuda! A country I had never heard of before coming across these gold notes.

Fyi, these pieces belong to a series called Marine Collectibles.

Unfortunately, they are super shiny and taking a proper close up photo turned out to be impossible. These are the two pieces I got:

A lobster and a black skimmer in case you can't make out the finer prints :)

I checked on eBay and it seems they go for 20$ a piece, whereas I paid a total of 24$ with postal included so I think I did a good job price wise.

In case you wonder about their composition, these are made of silver, coated with 23k gold. I don't remember the exact composition of silver, it was around 0.900 as @kerrislravenhill informed me in a comment. I am too lazy to dig that out though 😂

Although really beautiful, these notes never became a big hit among collectors. As I have mentioned a couple of times in the past, I love animal themed stuff so naturally I love stacking these notes. With my latest addition, I own a total of five.

With a bit of luck I'll score more of them in the market for similar prices. 🤞 🤞

I'll try to take some photos under different light conditions one of these days and maybe share em if I am happy with the results. We will see...

Ok plebs, I guess this is it for today!

Stack on 💸
