Or to be more precise, a limited number of frisbees ๐Ÿ™ƒ

But let's take everything from the start.

Meet Ed Headrick, chances are you have never heard of him. At least I know I hadn't:

Also known as "Steady" Ed Headrick, he was a toy maker best known for being the inventor of modern-day frisbee and the sport of disc golf. The photo above was taken a couple months before his death in August 12, 2002.

Anyways... Per his wishes after his death he was cremated and his ashes were used to make a limited number of discs.

Most discs were given to friends and family and a few remaining were sold with the proceeds going to the "Steady" Ed Memorial Disc Golf Museum in Columbia County, Georgia.

"Herein lie the ashes of the father of Modern Frisbee and the sport of Disc Golf."

I guess in the end he became what he loved most. A frisbee ๐Ÿ˜…

I wonder if any of those limited discs has been used to play fetch with a dog. For some reason I think he would entertain the idea very much!

As always, feel free to visit Wikipedia which was my main source for yet another trivia post if you want to read more ๐Ÿ˜€
