Hello Lions! Today I'm touching a topic I'm no close to an expert on, but I'm a observer, and it´s about web3 gaming and the Bull Market, and why I think Splinterlands could dominate this season.

Something I see about Splinterlands that is very powerful is the community. The game goes beyond the game itself but encourage people to create content about it and such content is also rewarded and the rewards can be use back in the game to level up, or you can use them for other purposes and stay motivated to play the game because no matter if you win or lose inside the game, you still have another way to earn.

The graphics are also cool, and people engage a lot if it is pleasant, and if there is a motivation besides the own game, for example that it is nice to have merch from it, that you can cosplay the characters, that a poster will look nice, and that fan-arts are galore. People loves fan-art and fan-fics as well, and I have seen at least a lot of fan-art from Splinterland, even from people that doesn't play the game but create content for it.

Another reason is that the team did not stop during the bear market nor allowed the drop in the price of their main token to push them down. I saw the price going down so hard, and people talking about loses, and all of the sudden ir came so back up that the loses turned into gains. And this speaks volumes about a project that can endure hard times, shift things and then go back on track, to become even better.

It seems to me that even not playing is very productive, like, I could trade with the tokens, create content, engage with the active community and never touch the game and still have something from it, but then, the main character is the game so, How is it to play? well, I have not even gotten my summoner book, and the reason is, many people have told me to do so, but I'm not a gamer, and other bunch of people told me it is already too hard that you can't come as newbie.

It had me thinking that it makes no sense at all, I mean, you need new players, it can't be that hard to join, but then, they are talking about monetization and that is so sad, because you should be playing because you like the game and the gains just to be a nice perk.

I'm considering just start and see how it actually is, and I think I have plenty of time for it because this game will survive the upcoming bulls and bears.

LPUD

Today I joined the LPUD with 150 $LEO!

I'm already a Lion and have been building my stake to get to the next level... I don't power up all I have because a bit of liquidity helps to play the game of the price, and also, if there is any emergency, I wanna have places to grab something from.

This is my stake now :D I have on stake 8k more than it shows because I have that delegated hehe.

Feels good to contribute this way.
