Honestly, when I first saw the news about Mykhailo Mudryk potentially joining Tottenham on loan, my first reaction was, “Wait… Mudryk to Spurs? Chelsea and Spurs?” 😂
But after thinking about it properly, I actually believe this could be a good thing for him.

According to the report, Mudryk has agreed to join Tottenham temporarily, with Chelsea and Spurs now discussing the loan deal. The main reason behind the move is to give him something he has not had consistently at Chelsea — regular first-team football.
And for me, that is exactly what Mudryk needs right now.
Let's be honest, things have not gone the way many Chelsea fans expected when Mudryk arrived. The guy came with huge expectations. We saw the pace, the dribbling and those moments where he could leave defenders behind like they were standing still.
But football is not just about having talent.
You need confidence. You need playing time. You need a manager who believes in you and gives you the opportunity to make mistakes, learn and improve.
Unfortunately, Mudryk has not been able to establish himself properly at Chelsea.
There have been moments when I watched him and thought, “Yes! This is the Mudryk we paid for.” Then suddenly, another game comes and he struggles to influence anything.
That inconsistency has definitely frustrated many of us.
But I don't think the answer is necessarily to give up on him completely.
Maybe he simply needs a different environment.
A loan move could give him the chance to play regularly, regain his confidence and understand his game better. Instead of sitting on the bench or getting limited minutes, he could be playing every week and taking responsibility.
And if he starts scoring goals and creating assists for Tottenham, trust me, Chelsea fans will start watching his performances closely. 😂
The only thing that makes this whole situation funny is Tottenham.

As a Chelsea fan, seeing Mudryk wearing a Tottenham shirt would definitely be strange. But at the end of the day, I care more about the player's development than the rivalry.
If he goes there and becomes the player we all hoped he would become, Chelsea could actually benefit from it.
I'm not saying Mudryk will definitely come back and become a superstar. Nobody can predict that.
But I believe he deserves one more proper opportunity to prove himself.
Sometimes, you don't need to change the player.
You just need to change the environment around the player.
Maybe Tottenham could be that environment for Mudryk.
I wish him well. Go there, play your football, regain your confidence and remind everybody why Chelsea believed in you in the first place.
Then come back stronger. 💙
