I personally don't think Arsenal should rush into signing a player simply because their first-choice options are unavailable. Over the last few seasons, Arteta has been clear about building a squad with the right profile and mentality instead of making panic buys. That approach has helped Arsenal become one of Europe's strongest teams, so abandoning it now would make not really sense.
The biggest question is whether Arsenal still need another left winger or whether they should trust the players already at the club. Christos Tzolis has arrived with an impressive record and plenty of excitement surrounding him, but adapting to the Premier League is never guaranteed. At the same time, Gabriel Martinelli still has the talent to remind everyone why he was once considered one of the league's brightest young wingers. Perhaps he deserves one more opportunity before the club decides to move on.
Bradley Barcola is another name linked with Arsenal, but the reported asking price is enormous. If the club felt Morgan Rogers was too expensive, it would be surprising to see them spend even more on another wide player especially on Bradley Barcola. Financial discipline is just as important as signing quality, especially in today's transfer market where prices continue to rise.
Another option could be strengthening a different area of the squad instead. A top striker or even defensive reinforcement could have a bigger impact over the course of a long season, particularly with injuries always playing a role in a title race. Sometimes improving the overall balance of the team is more valuable than chasing one superstar signing.
From a fan's perspective, missing out on elite targets is always disappointing, but it shouldn't be viewed as a disaster. Arsenal have already strengthened key areas this summer and still possess one of the strongest squads in England. The transfer window is not over, and opportunities often appear when least expected.
