‎Honestly, I don't know what is happening at Manchester United anymore. Because watching a club as big as United struggle to win games is becoming frustrating, even for those of us who are not their supporters. Losing 3-0 to Bournemouth at Old Trafford is a result that deserves serious attention, and I think Michael Carrick has every reason to be worried about his job.

‎Eight games without a win is not a good record for any manager, especially one in charge of a club with the expectations that come with Manchester United. At some point, you have to ask yourself whether things are going to improve or whether the club is just wasting more time hoping for a miracle.
‎
‎What even surprised me most was the decision to leave Bruno Fernandes on the bench for the entire game. Bruno is the captain and one of the team's most important players. I understand that Bruno has not been in form lately and managers sometimes have disagreements with their players, and no player should be bigger than the club, but I can't help wondering whether leaving him out was the right decision in a game United desperately needed to win.
‎
‎Of course, I don't know everything that happened behind closed doors, so I won't be too quick to judge that decision. However, the result certainly did Carrick no favours and I can see how he got emotional after the game.
‎
‎I personally don't think Manchester United's problems started with Carrick, and I doubt they will disappear simply because he leaves. This club has changed managers several times, yet the same problems keep coming back. That tells me there is something deeper going wrong.
‎
‎When carrick was appointed as interim mamager towards last season and he is getting those wins which later pushed them in champions league contention. I, myself was surprised but I definitely knew that there is great work await him after was named the head coach.
‎
‎Still, football is a results business. You can talk about building a project and giving a manager time, but eight games without a win is difficult to defend. If the club's management believes another coach can turn things around, I would not be surprised to see Carrick loses his job.
‎
‎As for the possible replacements, Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann are interesting options. Howe understands English football, while Nagelsmann could bring fresh tactical ideas. Unai Emery is another manager I would love to see considered seriously, although I don't think leaving Aston Villa would be an easy decision for him right now. Aston villa have lose most of their star players in the transfer window and I don't think they can allow their coach to leave when they just started to get things together too.
‎
‎But whoever comes in will need more than a few good results to fix this team. Manchester United need stability, proper planning, and players who understand what it means to wear that shirt.
‎
‎For me, the biggest question is whether the club is ready to address its deeper problems or whether we are about to witness another managerial change followed by the same old story.
‎
‎Everyone including myself thought Ruben Amorim was the problem but now we're back to the same old story.
