Going into this game, I expected Morocco to get the job done, but I definitely didn't expect Haiti to make things so difficult for them. In the end, the Atlas Lions came away with a 4-2 victory and secured second place in Group C, but the scoreline doesn't really tell the whole story.

What stood out to me most was Haiti's attitude. Even though they were already out of the tournament, they played with pride and showed absolutely no fear. Some teams in that situation would simply go through the motions, but Haiti came out looking like a side that still had something to prove.
Their opening goal was beautifully worked, and it immediately put Morocco on the back foot. Then came Wilson Isidor's goal, which was probably my favourite moment of the match. The strike was simply outstanding. The way he hit it left the goalkeeper with no chance, and for a while it felt like Haiti might pull off a huge upset.
Morocco, however, showed why they are considered one of Africa's strongest teams. Every time Haiti went ahead, they found a response. That ability to stay calm under pressure is something good teams possess. They didn't allow frustration to take over and kept searching for opportunities.
Achraf Hakimi once again proved how important he is to this side. He was involved throughout the match and played a key role in helping Morocco stay in the contest. Saibari's equaliser just before halftime was also massive because it prevented Haiti from carrying a lead into the dressing room.
The second half was a little tighter, but you could sense Morocco's experience beginning to show. As the game wore on, Haiti started to tire, which is understandable considering the amount of energy they had put into the match. Once Rahimi scored to give Morocco the lead for the first time, it felt like the momentum had completely shifted.
The fourth goal from Gessime Yassine sealed the win, although I have to admit I felt a bit sorry for Haiti by that point. They had played much better than a team heading home from the tournament.
If I'm Morocco, I'm happy with the qualification but also aware that there are defensive issues to fix before the knockout rounds. Conceding two goals against an already-eliminated side won't give them much confidence going forward.
As for Haiti, they may be leaving the World Cup, but they earned plenty of respect with this performance. They played brave football, entertained the fans, and showed that they belonged on this stage.
