One thing I love about football is that you can never be 100% sure about the outcome of a match. Sometimes, you look at the two teams on paper and feel like you already know who will win, only for the game to prove you wrong. That is part of what makes football interesting.

Honestly, I'm so speeches because I did not expect Arsenal to get knocked out of the Carabao Cup by a League Two side like Fleetwood Town. I can't just imagine it considering the difference in quality between the two teams, Arsenal were expected to win this game comfortably without too much trouble. But football does not always work that way.
Fleetwood Town held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw before beating them 5-3 on penalties. Just imagine how those players and their supporters must be feeling right now! Getting the chance to knock out the reigning Premier League champions and champions league finalist is something they will remember for years.
Looking at the game itself, I think Arsenal will be disappointed with their performance, especially in front of goal. They had enough opportunities to win the match during normal time, but they failed to make those chances count. Kai Havertz missed some good opportunities, and those missed chances eventually became a big problem for the team.
Viktor Gyokeres scored the equaliser in the second half, but Arsenal could not find another goal to settle the game. This is football. You can dominate possession, create chances, and still end up on the losing side if you don't take your opportunities.
I also have to give Fleetwood credit because it would be unfair to focus only on Arsenal's mistakes. Fleetwood knew they were facing a much stronger opponent, but they did not allow that to stop them from fighting. They stayed in the game, took their chance, and showed great composure during the penalty shootout.
Max Dowman's red card was another talking point, and I'm sure Arsenal fans will have their own opinions about that decision. However, the match had already shown that Arsenal were struggling to make the most of their chances.
As a football lover, I'm happy for Fleetwood Town. These are the moments that remind us why smaller clubs continue to dream of competing against the biggest teams. Money and big names matter in football, but they don't always guarantee victory.
For Arsenal, this is a disappointing result, and Mikel Arteta will have some things to think about. For Fleetwood, congratulations are in order. They went into this match as the underdogs and came out with a result that will live long in the club's history.
Sometimes, the most beautiful thing about football is watching the unexpected happen. ⚽
I believe this memory will stay in Fleetwood team for a long time.
