‎There is something about Estêvão that makes me excited whenever I think about Chelsea's future. I know he is still young and has a lot to learn, but I honestly believe we have a special talent in our hands. That is why I was happy to hear Xabi Alonso make it clear that Estêvão will have opportunities to play this season.

‎One thing I have noticed since the start of the season is that Estêvão has not been getting as many minutes as some of us would have loved to see. As a Chelsea fan, I understand that getting into this team is not always easy, especially when there are several attacking players competing for limited positions. However, I don't want us to get to a point where a young player with so much potential starts losing confidence because he is not getting enough opportunities.
‎
‎When I heard Alonso say that Estêvão will definitely play and that the season is still long, it gave me some encouragement. I also appreciate his explanation that the situation is not about Estêvão's attitude but rather the context of certain games and how the season has started.
‎
‎For me, that is an important statement because I would hate to see people start questioning the boy's commitment or mentality simply because he is not playing regularly.
‎
‎I also think a January loan move would be unnecessary at this stage. We brought Estêvão to Chelsea because we believe in his ability and what he can become in the future. Sending him out on loan before giving him enough opportunities to settle into the team would raise questions about our plans for his development.
‎
‎Of course, I am not expecting Alonso to throw him into every game just to satisfy impatient supporters. He is still developing, and there is a difference between giving a young player opportunities and putting unnecessary pressure on him.
‎
‎What I want to see is consistency in how we develop our young talents. We cannot keep talking about building for the future while leaving some of our most exciting youngsters watching from the sidelines.
‎
‎I trust Alonso to manage the situation properly, but I also hope he gives Estêvão enough minutes to show what he can do. Sometimes, all a young player needs is a little confidence and the opportunity to express himself.
‎
‎We did not bring Estêvão to Chelsea just to admire his potential. We brought him here to help him turn that potential into something special. Now, let's give the boy a chance!
