Sometimes, we get so focused on money, success, houses, cars, and everything we want to achieve that we forget to appreciate another kind of wealth that money can’t buy.
For me, I feel rich because I have people around me who genuinely care about me.
I have people who will pray for me when I’m not even aware that they are doing it. People who remember me in their prayers and genuinely want to see things work out for me. Honestly, having people like that in your corner is a blessing.
I also have people who can correct me when I’m wrong. And that one is very important to me.
Not everyone who smiles with you truly wants the best for you. Sometimes, the person who tells you the uncomfortable truth is actually the person who cares about you the most. A genuine friend won’t always tell you what you want to hear. They will tell you what you need to hear, even when it hurts.
I’m also grateful for the people who protect my name when I’m not around. People who won’t join others to pull me down just because I’m not there to defend myself. Those kinds of people are rare, and when you find them, you should never take them for granted.
Then there are those who celebrate your little wins.
They don’t make you feel like your achievements are too small. They are genuinely happy when something good happens to you. Whether it’s a major breakthrough or just a small step forward, they celebrate with you.
Life has taught me that having genuine people around you is a blessing that should never be underestimated.
You can have plenty of money and still feel lonely. You can have everything people admire from the outside and still lack someone you can truly trust.
But when you have people with pure intentions, good hearts, and solid character around you, you already possess something incredibly valuable.
That is the kind of wealth I appreciate.
I may not have everything figured out yet, and there are still many things I’m working towards, but I’m grateful for the people who stand by me through the good days and the difficult ones.
At the end of the day, real wealth is not only about what you have in your bank account. Sometimes, it’s about who you have in your corner.
And for that, I’m genuinely grateful. 💫✨
