If I had to choose one means of transportation, I would definitely go with a car. I have travelled by bus and motorcycle before, but I always find car trips more enjoyable. They are not too expensive, especially when you're sharing the ride with family or friends, and they make it easy to get to places that bigger vehicles might not reach and they are also comfortable as well.
Another thing I love about travelling by car is the freedom it gives. You don't always have to rush. If you see something interesting along the road, you can stop for a few minutes, stretch your legs, take pictures, or even buy snacks from roadside vendors. Those little moments often become the best part of the journey.
One trip that really stands out for me was when I travelled to Anambra State. It was my first time visiting such a far distance to my place, so I was excited from the moment we set off. As we drove, I noticed how the scenery kept changing. There were beautiful hills, green vegetation, busy towns, and peaceful villages. It reminded me of how diverse and beautiful our country is.
What I enjoyed even more was seeing people from different cultural backgrounds. Their way of dressing, the language they spoke, the local markets, and even the food gave me a new experience. It made me appreciate the richness of our different traditions and how every state has something unique to offer.
Looking back, that journey was not just about getting to my destination. It was about everything I experienced along the way. That's why travelling by car remains my favourite mode of transport. It gives me comfort, flexibility, and the chance to enjoy every part of the journey instead of focusing only on where I'm going.
