Hello Hives,
When I was younger, I used to look forward to becoming an adult.
I thought adulthood would be all about freedom. You make your own decisions, earn your own money, buy whatever you want and nobody tells you what to do anymore.

Honestly, I didn't know what I was wishing for.
Growing up has taught me that adulthood comes with a kind of pressure that nobody really prepares you for.
You wake up and there is always something to think about.
Rent. Food. Bills. Family. Work. Money. The future.
Sometimes, before you even get out of bed, your mind is already running through everything that needs to be sorted out.
And the funny thing is that life doesn't care whether you are tired.
The landlord still wants the rent. The family still needs you. Your responsibilities are still waiting. If you run a business, there are days when customers don't come. If you work for someone, there are days when you are exhausted but still have to show up.
There are even times when you don't have everything figured out yourself, but people look at you expecting you to have answers.
That was probably when I realized that being an adult was not what I imagined.
You eventually become the person others depend on.
Nobody is coming to tell you exactly what to do.
You have to make decisions, sometimes with very little money, little information and plenty of uncertainty. And when things don't work out, you have to pick yourself up and try again.
I have had moments when I wondered if I was doing enough with my life. I have had moments when financial pressure made me question my plans and wonder when things would finally become easier.
But I have also learned something important.
Life does not always get easier. Sometimes, we simply become stronger.
I have learned to take things one day at a time. I try to focus on the things within my control instead of worrying endlessly about what I cannot change.
I celebrate small progress now.
Being able to provide something for my family, making a little money, learning something new, completing a task I have been postponing or simply getting through a difficult period without giving up because these things matter too.
Social media can make it seem like everyone else is moving faster, but I have learned that everybody has a story behind the pictures we see.
So, this week, I want to hear from you.
What has been the biggest burden of adulthood for you?
When did you realize that being an adult wasn't as easy as you thought?
Was it when you started paying your own bills? Taking care of your family? Losing a job? Starting a business? Or simply realizing that nobody has all the answers?
And finally, how exactly have you been coping with it all?
Let's talk honestly in the comments.
Maybe your story will remind someone that struggling does not mean they are failing. Sometimes, we are all just trying our best to figure this thing called life out.
Thanks for Reading
